Well.....I would say.......get him neutered ASAP! within the next month as long as your vet agrees.
He is still a puppy but he will be getting certain instinctual patterns coming up (LIKE MARKING FURNITURE) , you wont see a real slowing down of his physical activity. But anytime he will hear the call of nature. If he is a pet neuter him soon or he may start habits you do not like. Anytime he will become sexually ready and if he is a pet it is best to neuter him before marking starts, its more difficult to stop later..
