Red98, Oil/Conditioner? Are you asking what can be use for general brushing. If you have Pets your not going to want to Oil a coat. Oil collects dirt and you'll need to bath all the time. I show Yorkies and use Oil when I wrap a coat up in Papers, not for dogs that are not being shown.
The same goes for conditioners, used to heavy they will add to much weight to the coat, they don't appear clean even after a bath, and will cause static. Static not only looks funny it collects dirt and will cause additional breakage on the ends.
