As far as Brushes and Combs go, I only use and sell All System Brushes. The bad thing about these brushes are that they don't last for years, but they are the most gently one skin that I have found. I would bet that 95% of the Yorkie Show Exhibitors use this brand. The comb I like is the Fine/Med Teflon for the body, and I never use a full size for the face. If you have a fine silk coat the Boars Bristle works well, the one with a nylon center with help the bristles to go through the coat better.

Usually a slicker isn't used, but the "Softer Cotton Textured Coats" can be more than what I would want to maintain daily, and a slicker can be the only thing that with work on the mats they get.

Puppies can use go through a coat change where a slicker comes in handy too, usually around 4 - 6 months old. The only slicker to use is the X-Sm Extra Soft and you never hit the skin with it, people have actually burn the skin on dogs with these not using them properly. To be more gentle I'll pinch the base, next to skin, of the coat between my fingers to hold the coat when I use it. This coat change that causes the tangles last for a couple of months, and the usually trouble ares is the stifle (Knee) area and under the front legs.

I'm sure many of you have been on our site.
