In England the Kennel Club standard says ""dark steel blue, not silver blue" it is just a term for the dark silvery gray colour that extends from the back of the neck to the tail. I used to watch the Crufts Dog Shows when I was growing up in England and the Yorkies ruled. My sister-in law is from Yorkshire so I feel even more of a bond with this breed. I have loved them all my life, and I am now so proud of mine, although I cannot see him prancing around an arena, he would be the clown of the show.
