Welcome goldcupmom! It just takes a lot of patience and effort to get them potty trained. Praise a lot when they succeed in peeing in the right area, perhaps add a little treat as well. Sounds like Mia will be a well-travelled Yorkie, if you can get her to go on pee pads consistently, you should be fine.
