I so remember my palm tree. After my sister's bright idea of putting him in our suitcase for a trip to Grandmothers house, I didn't want a turtle again, we sent him down the brook with flowers.

I take it...turtle didn't survive the trip...over the river and through the woods.

I had a box turtle once....they don't survive if ya drop them on the driveway either....their "house" cracks.
