Hon I am sorry that you have to have this stress. Is there no way that you can leave him with someone you know. Does your vet's office board. At least he will be somewhat familiar with him and you know they will care for him.

I would suggest if you really have to that you leave him some of his favoriet things so that he has familiar things with him to ease some of the stress of being away. Is there maybe a local dog sitter that you can get instead that way he can stay at home in his home and just have them come in and check on him?
