Thanks. I'm still not sure if the pigs ear thing did it or not, but I tried to get rid of anything that I thought it might be. Also, we have a lot of birds out in our Magnolia tree who poo poo all over the place - we try very hard to be sure that the babies don't get into it & we also try to take the hose to the sidewalk & the deck, but I guess you can't catch every little things.

My babies are doing much better, it just scared the heck out of me - I even stopped feeding them the wet food & switched them to dry only.
