That stinks! I'm sorry I know it must be hard with a stepchild. I would just let her know that this is not a toy and she is never to pick her up without supervision and sitting down. Hopefully she will be easier to deal with once she sees the puppy. I am a softie but not when it comes to my dogs! Istill yell at my 20 year old dtr for carrying Cali with out holding her tight!
