I love top knots and bows on boys but daughter hates them and our boy dog is her dog. I snuck this one in Spike's when she wasn't home. I thought she'd like it once she saw it (it is a boy bow after all), but she thought it was awful. I've started doing bowless topknots and so far she's okay with it. So... my long answer to your question is, I vote for a topknot!
