Consistency is KEY!!
We have litter trained our little guy, because then he can go whenever he feels the urge, and it has been beautiful. You have to keep a ever vigulant eye, on him at all times. But with time and patience it works great. Good luck and I hope out or in yard or litter box or potty pads it all works out in the end
