As much as I would love to have my baby be trained to go outdoors, I couldn't because it was wintertime when we first got him and I fear he could get sick
plus I don't have the luxury of being a stay home mom
. . . so the pad has worked well for me. Now that it is spring and warm, he does both! When I take him out, he goes . . . and when he needs to go and I can't take him out, he goes to the pad.
Although oftentimes Tiger aims really bad, it is cleaned up right away with some petenzyme so the smell won't linger. His poop and pee pads are always disposed in a diaper bag so the smell is contained
I also clean his feet and private parts every single time he goes - indoor or otherwise!
I never let Tiger roam free in the house without a belly band. Of course, there are rare accidents (poop) but thank goodness it is always dry so easy to clean up.
He mostly spends his time in the laundry room and that has tiled flooring.
It definitely stinks if you are a messy person but since I am NOT and my husband is ANAL about cleanliness . . . I don't have that stinky smell . . . if you are a visitor, you would't even know I have a dog.
