Glad to hear sophie is doing well. I am glad the breeder is taking SOME responsiblity here, even if not fully refunding the total price of Sophie. You will be responsible for the spay, that is part of an owners costs to incur, unless you buy an already spayed dog. I think you are doing the right thing by not taking another puppy, if Sophie had Leggs Perthes, whats to say the next puppy wont also.
