We had a house on the water in Carolina...the lady next door lived there year round and owned a rooster. When she first got him....that crowing in the morning would wake our whole family up...until we got used to him. She had a/c so her windows were closed....a/c goes on the blink...she took a shotgun and killed Mr. Happy Morning...he ran,

INTO the river. She fished him out and made chicken, (rooster?) salad.
Best part of dad hunting....after cleaning them...we got squirrel and rabbit tails to play with. And yes, we had real toys....don't ask why we wanted tails...
