I have such a problem with those darn CKC papers! I don't know why!! My two Yorkies even came from the same breeder, both are beautiful...and yet knowing Simon is CKC registered is driving me nuts. I know it doesn't make sense at all. I know papers mean nothing unless you plan to breed or show and bad breeders are out there no matter what registy they happen to use.
OK now after reading this before posting, I know I am a snob and it's wrong.
Please, don't take all this the wrong way LOL I don't make a difference in the way I treat any of my dogs (ok I do admit that Jersey (Yorkie) and Tank (Mastiff) are my favorites) but everyone gets the same amount of attention and love. |
Ginger is AKC and I am very proud of her, so I can see how this would be important to you. I’m not familiar with the other affiliation that you mentioned, but it’s still a credible registry, right? So maybe you are not a snob, you just like to have things just so. Maybe the fact that one is different than the rest is what’s really bugging you, not necessarily the credibility behind it?
