 Barking babies
My little Dylan who is 4 months old now barks at everything. He barks at me when I get home from work, always barks at my husband when he enters the room, barks at birds, other dogs, shadows, strange noises, he even starts barking when he wakes up in his crate to let us know he is up.
When I got him at 8 weeks old, my chihuahua didn't like him so she would growl at him. He would bark at her and if she kept growling he would turn his little butt towards her and just look around at her and continue to bark. He thinks he wants to be the alpha dog but my chihuahua who is 4 yrs old has other ideas. She still growls at him as he is kissing her face and licking her eyes.
Dylan does quit barking if I pick him up and tell him to stop. My other yorkie was not nearly this vocal. |
