I'm getting another puppy in July, and I have set aside $1000. I would rather have too much than not enough. You know?? I guess it also depends on how many rounds of shots your puppy will have when you bring him/her home. If it only needs one more round of shots, obviously that will cost less than a couple of rounds. Also, if your getting him/her fixed, a neuter costs less than a spay. I am getting a little girl who will need 2 rounds of shots and need to be spayed. So, I figure $1000 will cover all that and I will have some leftover to buy barretts for her hair, a crate, etc. I already have 1 yorkie, so I won't need to buy too much stuff! |
