Omega-
I haven't used CC silk spirit so I don't know if there is a difference or not. Is it like a serum you put on when the hair is dry? If so I honestly wouldn't get something new until you finish what you have. I have some serum stuff that I used on my hair and put it on Reagan every now and then and while the Pet Silk serum is better, its not much better. I think all serums are going to be about the same one may be better than another but probably not enough for me to justify buying a new one in the middle of an old. If its a shampoo or conditioner product then I've just wasted you time sorry and I don't really know anything about it. Unless its drying you pup out though I might just stick with it and when its gone try something new if you want.
As far as the puppy coat, I don't really know either. I know that there was a big change as far as Reagan goes. When she was in her puppy coat she got matts so quick and so much. Now she get a few small knots right under her front legs every now and then but nothing too bad and plus I don't always brush her everyday either. I pretty sure that some of it may fall out and if you don't keep that hair brushed out it will cause matts. So it is important to keep them brushed especially when they are changing from puppy to adult coat.
About the shaking and the hair being all over the place well that's just going to happen. Every single time I get Reagan's hair up and pretty she shakes and I swear if it were long enough the hair on her tail would end up on top of her head. With what I am using now unless Reagan really gets messy, which she tends to do, I can brush her and her go back to looking pretty good and for about a week. It may even work longer than a week but by a week she's usually gotten herself pretty stinky.
It does get overwhelming seeing all the different kinds of products. What I did is I found one I was interested in then read through here to see if anyone else had tried it to see what they had thought. This way you don't hear about all the great products and not know which to choose. You choose one then try to find out if its good or not. Although, I know, this is a little of a double edge because how do you know about some until you hear other talking about them. The ones I've bought just kinda stuck with me. I've always heard about CC but haven't yet really felt the want to try them so I haven't yet. I saw Shea Pet on the web and was just interested in them and remained so until I had heard about someone else liking them. Don't let it bother you'll find something you like it may take a little while or it may be what is in the bottle you already have at home. You never know, if/when that coat changes you may be in love with what you already have. Good luck in whatever choose to do and sorry I wrote a novel.
