I understand how you feel. When I got Ginger I was able to take her to work with me everyday. Then, when I decided to return to school, I had 3 mos. off to just stay home with her. It was really tough leaving for school the first week or two, and the program I'm in I'm gone 8 hours.

But, I found a woman in my neighborhood who dog-sits, and paid her $10/day to come in and get my animals out to play and run in the yard for an hour. She was great, and even let me call her each day on my cell to see how things went. After awhile I cut that back to just a couple of days each week.

It really eased my mind, and truly, I believe the change was MUCH HARDER on me than on her!

So, you may want to consider a doggie daycare or pet sitter visiting. It might make you feel better!

Good luck!
