Puppy color and adult color can be very different. If you want a show pup, then you have to trust the breeer, see the line, see what they show and get a pup older then 12 weeks..you can get a hint at 12 weeks..but until 6 months it can only be called a potential, not show quality. A bit too light, too dark, too gold, too tan, does not count a Yorkie out..espically since correct color is in the eye of the breeder and then we have the judge..some don't know black from blue, gold from tan..
Get a good, sound structured puppy who wants to show, good ear and bite, nice texture and color is something you can give on a bit..
