cleaning his eyes everyday will prevent the crusties from building up. if the crusties do build up soak them with warm water and then use a flea comb to get them out. flea combs have teeth that are really close together and it helps to get the gunk out.
the reason he is getting the gunk might be from allergies. i know another yorkie that gets real bad allergies at this time of the year and she gets crusty eyes from it. does your yorkie have this all the time or sparatically? |
