Wow! That is horrible!! I remember going to see some puppies a few years ago out here by me and they were just as you described. Crusty goopey eyes and full of poop. It was in the summer and there were little gnats flying around their head. It took EVERYTHING in me to not take them all home. But I knew I had to turn and walk away.
The nerve of this person using males w/out the owners consent too..

As for the white patch. 90% of my puppies are born with some white on their chest, some have larger spots than others. I am still trying to find out what it represents. The white does eventually go away. So I do not consider it a fault. It appears that the coats are darker and silkier. But I have not had enough litters to be certain. It may just be a coinsidence...

I would like to know other opinions about white on the chest...
