one week after I got Kizzy, she was 7 weeks old. we were on the deck. I was holding her and she got excited about something I suppose but I was standing full erect holding her and she jumped so quickly, there was no way i could catch her. She landed on her head and kinda her back. I was so scared she would be dead, but when I picked her up she was yelping something aweful and hubby said, well put her down and see if she can stand, I did in a few minutes. she stood fine then she ran over to where he was sitting and till this day has never acted like its bothered her anymore. Hubby said she must be just like me, hard headed. lol
But thank God she was and still is ok. But they are very quick little dogs and you have to have a good hold on them.
I am sooooooooo sorry for the loss, but I hope your neice dont feel too guilty as she probably does, it can happen when anyone is holding one as I found out real quick. again, i'm sooooooooo sorry for your grief and pain.
