She talked about layering it all over..but told me she didn't think it was what I would like and her coat would show all the scissor marks...so we just took some length off her coat, trimmed her face and legs and tail area...I like it. I was reading today that someone said that a puppy cut doesn't look that great on a yorkie with very silky hair. I was thinking about it and I think if they shaved his legs they would look like bald q-tips! His hair is very thin on his legs.
