I wouldn't worry about your pup not going to the bathroom at your friend's house.

And dogs can play pretty rough. Actually, I have to protect my 21-pound Bichon from my little Yorkie. It's the Yorkie who is the "wild one." They wear me out watching them. The puppy (Yorkie) does a lot of biting and hanging on and being drug around. The Bichon (the victim) never bites -- but does love to run and play.
