SO - in a month I am taking Otis on his first long road trip. We are driving from Utah to Houston. I was wondering if ya'll had some good advice for such a long trip. He had a car seat ( Outward Hound) - though I am wondering if I should get a more comfortable seat. One of my friends suggested that I ask my vet about medication in case he freaks out about being in the car for so long. The longest he has been in a car is 1 hour. Thoughts ?? Suggestions ??
