Default My co-worker dislikes her own Yorkie!

I've been worried about this little Yorkie for months! My co-worker doesn't seem to place as much value on her Yorkie as I do mine. She's always complaining about how much money Zoe costs her in vet bills, etc. She says she got her for free from someone, and she always says "some free dog this is!" A few months ago, Zoe had bladder stones and had to have alot of Vet visits for that and take medicine, then last weekend she got attacked by a big dog and had to have stitches! And all my co-worker can do is complain about how much money it's costing her!! After the bladder stone incident, my co-worker made a comment that she didn't know if she could afford this dog and might get rid of her. I told her not to do anything drastic without talking to me. I would take her in a minute. I re-itereated my offer after she was telling me about the big dog incident ( I just hate that she was ever even placed in a position for it to happen)-I said "If you really don't want to keep Zoe, she can come home with me-she would fit right in with our little Yorkie family". I think maybe this person is a complainer in general, but it really bothers me how she talks about her little "money pit". Just venting!
