Remember .... dogs follow a sysyem. So you have taught her that after you guys eat...... then she eats. It's like when I call out "treat treat' ALL my dogs knows what happens next. Your thing now is when you sit to eat... she knows what is coming next. Which is why she is whining...... cause she knows! Can you feed her before you guys eat? When my dogs eat, it is never associated with anytime I eat. It is a completely non connected time. My dogs are soooo well behaved now that I could be on the sofa with ALL my adult dogs with a pizza on my lap.... chowing down..... and they will be napping right next to it.
