VincentNYC -- You're not going to visit this forum and say that you hit your dog and have very many friends.....

I can't imagine what the big deal is with a little Yorkie having something in it's mouth that you don't want there. There are so many ways to remove something from a Yorkies mouth rather than resorting to hitting it. Personally, although granted - sometimes it's hard to do, I can usually open my Yorkie's mouth and remove whatever he has.

Not that it makes a bit of difference, but it seems even especially cruel for a "man" to be hitting a little Yorkie. Soft taps on the little behind (that don't hurt) and a stern voice are all the most that any of us ever resort to...and we hate even having to do this.

I agree - you shouldn't have a little Yorkie. Why do you have such a tiny, gentle little dog? It's true - they can be "tough tenacious little terriers" at times. Thank God - they don't have much as far as size going for them. But, why ever take advantage of your size to be cruel to an animal.

I don't need to say much - the rest of the people on YT - will certainly do it for me.
