It does make me wonder why he posted something like this but I can't help but worry about the puppy if by chance it is true.
If you really do have a puppy, when I wrote educate yourself I did not mean that in a negative way. You're already having issues so your methods are not working. Dogs learn much better with positive reinforcement. You will have a better behaved and much happier dog in the long run.
