vincentnyc- I've read your other posts and your methods have always seemed a little harsh, you always talk about letting them know who is boss by yelling real loud etc... I think you need to learn more about positive reinforcement and constructive training methods. Your puppy is 3 months old right?

They will often get things in their mouth that they're not supposed to have and hitting a 3 month old (or any age yorkie for that matter) is not acceptable, you will traumatize the dog and make it afraid of you and anyone for that matter.

Do you want a happy, well trained, well adjusted dog that loves you and is happy to see you or one that cowers when you come around?

To be honest I don't think a yorkie is the right dog for you if you can't control your temper enough to responsibly train your puppy.
