i understand when you are angry hitting can happen easily. i don't agree with hitting animals or people. maybe next time try using a stern voice and if you need something physical try a paper towel roll or water bottle. i had problems with romeo this weekend being mean to a little dog who was our guest. i felt like smacking him , but i resisted. another y/t member suggested a paper towel roll or water bottle. yorkies are just so small. they can injure easily.
