I can't offer any advice on the holes because I never found any of Maddie's baby teeth.

I did want to tell you about something I'm using on Maddie. It is called Life For Teeth. I just spray it in Maddie's mouth once a day. She never has had tartar and it seems to be keeping her from getting it. My sister started using it on her dog who did have plaque and tartar and it's not completely gone yet, but there's a great improvement and she's only been using it a couple of weeks. There is also brush away gel and I use that now and then to brush her teeth. Here's the site if you'd like to check it out!
