I know with Sadie (at 6 wks)...her coat was soft but didn't really have a fluffy look to it..was a little more smooth...she does not have the long silky coat. But, I don't have to brush her everyday because she doesn't get matted...I will be buying another furbaby from the same breeder and these babies will have the long silky coat which will need daily brushing (which I don't mind)..I saw one of her litters a couple of months ago...the pups were 6 weeks a that time and their coat did look different than Sadies at that same age kind of fluffy and thicker..
