Actually if you read the instructions on Synthroid it says to take 1 hour before any other meds or food. I take mine as soon as I get up, then I eat after I'm dressed. I think that Synthroid bonds to other things that you eat and you don't get the full effect of it. I don't know how any other thyroid medicines do. Make sure you read your instructions!!!
