My worst hair experience was when I decided (on impulse) to have my sister cut my waist length hair to shoulder length. I forgot to take into account the weight so when it dried it curled up to my ears. There was no fixing that. Picture something like this

I looked horrible.
I was in my late teens so it seemed like an eternity until it grew to a decent length.
