Carol Jean - I am very experienced in dogs - most anyone in rescue would have to be. I have 10 rescued Yorkies of my own now and over the last 4 1/2 years had over 25 rescues come through my house. I also grew up in a home with dogs and cats. My father raised labs so I know how puppies play. I am well versed in what is play fighting and what is real fighting with Yorkies. I said watch to see if they are going after the neck. Many members don't know the difference between real fighting and play fighting and if someone is worried about the difference this would be an indicator of the difference. I also have 2 males that start out playing and it quickly escalates to a full blown dog fight - have you ever seen what a pack will do when a fight breaks out? My gang play fight all day long and I do not step in until a full blown fight erupts. From your post you act like I told her to break them up. IMHO - neither Erin nor I said that but to watch and supervise as I agreed with Erin.
