I think if you are having a puppy shipped you can explain your personality desires to he breeder. They are so good at matching the right puppy with the right family. They will be very honest (I have found) because they want a happy customer.
If yiu get to pick a puppy I would also trust the breeder to pick out a couple that match your desires since they have known them since birth and can determine their personalities better than anyone. You could then choose after the breeder has narrowed it for you.
All of my dogs have different personalities and I do love them all but some traits are preferable to others.
