I searched to try to find the answer to this, but couldn't. I read on some of the posts that brewers yeast with garlic pills help repel fleas and is relatively cheap.. which is great considering I have four animals and spend about 730.00 on flea meds per year and I want to have a baby so I just cant afford that anymore. I have two questions that I hope someone can help me with.

1. Does it also work on repelling fleas off of cats?

2. How long does it take to work?

Chloes flea problem is really bad right now, so should I get the brewers yeast with garlic and hope that it repels them within a few hours.. or buy a tube of advantage today for her? I've only seen a couple of fleas on my dogs.. and just a little flea dirt on my cats.. but shes covered and I don't know why.
