You may want to consider Yorkie adoption. If you don't mind an oddity and know what you want in regard to size at maturity, why not get a young adult? Give it a go, I don't have the links handy to post, but if you can't find them PM me and I'll be sure to get them to you.
You're right, $600 isn't going to get you a Yorkie that fits your description, unless either A you adopt or B you find that breeder that is looking for your services to barter w/. Keep looking and keep us posted! I know that if you go to other states for a Yorkie you might, but not here.
If you're willing to ship, that might be an option, but then again you'd be then looking at a shipping fee! What other breeds are you looking into?
