My LiL Moe is deffinately a problem trainer, but I also know there is some reason why he is, and as I love him and wouldn't just throw him aside like some failed husband, I choose to live with his mess and mistakes until we as a team figure out what works for him.You don't Make a pet do anything, they do things for you because they want to please you, and if they mess up, we have to figure out why and work with it.My mother used to get us a puppy for christmas, it would get bigger, not act how she thought it should..and suddenly the puppy magically "ran away from home." Then another some time later, same story...he "ran away from home" ...the way you treat your animals will have a direct bearing on how your little girls feel about animals, and close bonds with beings other than mom and dad. I may have just been small, but I shall never forget the heartbreak of losing my puppy to the "magical ran away syndrome" If you want a clean house, don't have pets or children, as children are messy too...and it's a natural thing for them to be, and children break things, and make accidents too....some people dont allow children in thier home, I find that appalling as well. The bottom line is everyone has a different oppinion, were all entitled to it, and that is how the world works , different strokes for different folks.
I don't know why this is such a great debat, some people like it some people don't. 11 pets to me seems crazy but hey thats you not me. I don't just buy and get rid of dogs that was one time, and me and my hubby felt it was best. As for the whole child thing yes kids make messes and from time to time break things but they are KIDS, I have never loved an animal, and I have had them all my life, as I love my children, not even close. However that said because i do keep a clean house my daughter tends to be clean as well, she puts her toys back and has never colored on anything but paper, and never messes with her food. But we do occassionaly get finger paints out and we get all yucky and we go out and play in the sprinklers and mud. Just because someone does'nt liek a dirty house does'nt mean they don't get dirty from time to time, you clean it up. I just would'nt keep an animal that did'nt learn the potty training thing within a few months, but I don't have to worry cuz both mine are trained so no biggy! As for some people not wanting kids in there home I would respect there wishes, I am sure this will tick people off as well but I am having my baby shower this weekend, and I put on the invites adults only children not invited, I DON'T want my friends kids in my home. One of my girlfriends will plop her butt on the couch and let her daughter just wonder around my house and get into things, last time she was here her daughter got into my baby stuff and put destin on my new upcoming daughters new bedding, she has'nt been asked back. Not the kids fault but her lazy moms! Another one of my friends has three young boys and she does'nt disapline them and they hit and push and her eldest (only potty trained) son pees on my toilet and floor when she is here and she knows he does it but does'nt make him clean it up or clean it up herself. To me things like that are not okay. And I don't care if it upsets people that i don't want there puppies or children in my home. My hats are off to the dog owners who don't care I wish I could be more liek that but we just are not and thats not to say I am a bad person to feel this way. And not to say people are bad to not care but liek everyone has said whats good for one person may not be good for another.
