Since your baby's on flea and tick meds...I'd say the tick died and fell off. That's how it works. Look in his crate...carefully cause it's gonna be small and you might miss it.
No, unless your yard or the neighborhood is infested with ticks...you're good. You probably would have found more than one if that were the case...on you, him, or someone in your household. Btw, ticks live in pine trees or are bred in pine trees. We use to camp in a campground that had pines....one summer they'd fall out of the trees and onto you....yuck
