Lexie has been sick for weeks and I have had to administer a prescription in liquid form. She tries to get away and runs from me when she sees the syringe. I have found that placing her in the sink works best...she can't get away from me and I am able to open her mouth and quickly squirt the meds in there. She hates it, but it works. Good luck!
