I guess I'll just have to call her. She hasn't posted up any achievement of her breeding stock, be it health or otherwise and I was just thinking that since she's as wonderful as everyone says, and I mean EVERYONE, then why not do her dogs justice and post those up? Cuteness isn't everything, nor is it a start. I want to know what the vet's have said about their hips/elbows/hearts/eyes/liver and so on first!
It's not enough for me to have the breeder assume from her experience that there her dogs knees are tight. I've met breeders (that have been doing it for "30 years"...well, apperently not right for 30 years) that say their dogs have tight knees and hips and that the hips aren't a problem for Yorkies and so I REALLY wanted a puppy out of a certain litter, but that I wouldn't purchase w/o verification of x-ray that all things were fine on this one dog and so because I was a show home she went ahead and did it. I even PAID for these x-rays, no biggie. Well, her "tight" dog turned out to be fair at best on the hips from FOUR different vet's opinions and one knee slipped like no body's business. And she had bred this dog already before.
*grr*
So, while I am not putting her Yorkies in that catagory, I wish that those that are singing her praises would come forth w/ their experiences on this.
And OF COURSE, I'll probably give Sylvan Yorkies a call this weekend and speak w/ her! She really does sound delightful.
