I'm not sure why SoCal is giving her baby benadryl but we give it to lil bear for her allergies. It reallys helps. Esp with the pollen so high, before we started giving her the stuff when she was around a year should would chew all the hair off her paws and be sneezing and all runny eyes. Lil Bear's 7 lbs and we give her 1.5 cc. Yeah she a killer to give meds to, but we found she's not a big fan of the bubble gum flavor....she's more the fruit type flavor dog.
