The yellower pee is a sign that she is not drinking enough water. It doesn't actually mean that she is dehydrated at this point because the reason her urine is darker is that her body is conserving water.
Try adding water to her food this will help. I would also physically take her to the water bowl throughout the day.
My mom also puts ice in her dog's water. She watched mine while I went out of town and when I came home, mine was looking at the water dish and barking at me. At first, I thought it was empty, then I thought maybe it wasn't fresh, then my mom called and wanted to know why K.C. was barking I explained the situation and my mom said Oh, he wants ice cubes in his water!!
