| I agree with what Debbi_S has said. My puppies drop in blood sugar have come on pretty fast. When i have gotten to him its like his muscles dont work, His eyes are rolling back into his head, he isnt responsive at all. Its like he is in a coma. The Vet told me if he starts getting hypoglycemic to rub the nutrical on his gums because it will absorb faster that way. It is very scary when it happens. (well at least to me because this is my first small puppy). And i dont mind at all you asking a question. The more people that can be helped with this topic the better. I didnt know anything until the first episode and i didnt know what to do. I have gotten some advice from the two vets i have talked to and so much help for the great people that are willing to tell their stories on this board. |
