| I woke with children alot and my biggest horror is to watch children that tend to be cruel to animals......to me it is a "red flag" for future behavior problems. Many times it is useless talking to parents...unless you can somehow find a spot of empathy hidden in them....kids learn what they live!
Taking the pup with you to talk to the parents may help...since it is obviously such a small creature. I like to talk to my grandkids as if Apple or Lil Bit were telling them how small and scared they are! That has worked well with them....Adam (age 4) is sooooo gentle.....Macy ( soon to be 2) MUST BE WATCHED....actually MUST BE within arms reach.....she does fine but in a fit of excitement cannot be trusted!
