I'm glad she is okay
2 weeks ago my 10 year old daughter rode her bike to the corner and back for the first time ever. A black lab had broken out of his kennel and lunged at her as she rode by, bruising and breaking the skin through her jeans! Next he went after her friend, a little boy and took him to the ground ripping his shirt. All the police did was give her a summons. The dog has been loose several times since, when the kids get off the school bus. My husband talked to the dog owner and she promised to keep him penned. Still loose sometimes! The cops have done nothing!! Watch children around that dog, in a split second their lives can change forever! keep furbaby close-I know you will. Sad.
