My 7 year old son came home from school one day (a christian school I might add) and he was upset because his teacher had told him that animals do not go to heaven. He was upset because our beloved Chow had died 2 years ago and he still gets sad about him being gone. I have always told him that Bear is in heaven and that has comforted him (and me). I was not real happy that the teacher had told him that. I told him that is her belief but that I believe Bear is in heaven. I told him how can she know that he isn't!
